Hi all. As always technology advances and what was the lates & best piece of equipment yesterday id out of date today. We're looking into purchasing a new diagnostic tool, and wonder if I could have some advice from those of you out there with the experiences you've had with your own machine. A personal recommendation is far more honest than a salesman! We need a multi-purpose machine, that will talk to as many different makes & models as possible, show live data, include an oscilloscope, and if possible (as we also sell batteries), enable us program the power management of cars with stop-start systems (something that is necessary when changing a battery). For the past 3 years we have been using an Omiscan 2 made by Omitec, and have found it to be very useful, but it has a few limitations. (Plus, we have been experiencing problems with its operation on certain PSA vehicles, and have found their customer support to be nowhere near as good as we would have hoped). Please post your experiences (good and bad) of your diagnostic machines which will not only help us choose our next purchase, but I'm sure that other memebers would find the information interesting.

Hi Tony, thanks for taking the time to reply. We're still looking for our 'new' diagnostic machine. Who makes the launch, and where can I find more information about it please? Thanks Alastair

Hi Folks, Just to update antyone who's interested, it looks like we're going to be upgrading to the TEXA AXONE 4 Car & Light Commercial package. We had a demo of the system on Friday and it seems to be very well featured, and easy to use. Is there anyone out there already using one of these who would like to add their thoughts & feedback? Alastair
