Driver Complaint – Engine cranks, no start.
Cause/Symptom – During cranking the central locking cycles and the side/headlights operate in an erratic manner.
Rectification Route – Bad earth connections located behind the near side headlamp are common to this fault. The earth may appear to be good and secure but is susceptible to corrosion, remove and clean to ensure a good connection. This earth feeds numerous circuits including the engine management control module.
