The noise appeared to be the ABS rattling in operation. Checked for fault codes - none. Check ABS wheel signals and noted the OSF wheel had odd spikes on the signal. Change cracked OSF reluctor ring, but this made little difference apart from the signal trace. The customer also complained of a squeak from the brakes and we noted that after a test drive the right front brake dragged a bit. Strip brakes pads, clean and free up. Piston stiff to push back, but free on releasing the bleed nipple. Road test again and release pipe into flexible hose to release pressure. Road test again and release NSR bleed nipple to release pressure. Again and release at ABS, and again at master cylinder - pressure being retained by master cylinder. Cylinder loosened at mounting on to servo to make sure problem was not the push rod or pedal, pressure still retained. Strip and check MC but looked OK, and new part was fitted - road tested all problems now repaired.
