As most of you are aware the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles will be banned in the UK after 2030,
What's everyone's thoughts on this and how it will affect the motor vehicle trade?

Accepted Answer
Having set-up an EV specialist business 4 years ago, to run alongside our 60 year old ICE workshop, I am very pleased to say that I am glad I did! I have seen growth in the required EV work, to a point that we now have 40% of our daily workload as pure EV.

Euro 7 has been announced today, this is potentially a big step towards the ruling 2030, the requirements for NOx will be upped to 60mg/km for petrol and diesel which was previously 80mg/km. Which is going to be very difficult for large goods vehicles.
