Including Digital Service Records

As per our previous update - the OSS portal is in the process of being migrated onto AOS.

Existing OSS users - must continue to use OSS until they are contacted by BMW to migrate their user account onto AOS.

New users - will now be registered using the AOS site.

BMW and Mini Electronic Service History and technical information can be accessed via the following link -
https://aos.bmwgroup.com

You will need to register for access to the BMW Technical Portal at the URL above before you can access the Electronic Service History.

The information in this post is correct at the time of publication and to the best of our knowledge. However, manufacturers update their websites regularly and you should check the website carefully to ensure that you are completing the task correctly according to current instructions.

Please contact us on 0845 305 4230 if you experience problems with updating a BMW (or Mini) service history or post a response to this post if you can add anything to help other independent garages access the BMW Service History System.

Please log into forums and access downloads section for updated AOS system requirements, new user registration and user guide.

Last week I followed the instructions for your downloads section to gain access to the BMW AOS system so that we could record BMW services on thier system. I thought I had entered a service but going back into the system today (so that I could write my own notes on the procedure) the system appears to have changed!
I have eneterd the same vehicle details that I used last week, an the system tells me that there are no services recorded for this vehicle, plus I can see no way to enter a new service record!
It could well be that I am making a fundamental error in what I am doing (I'm still flumoxxed after sorting out the problems I had with Mercedes!), but if I could please be pointed in the right direction I would appreciate it, so thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have accessed the BMW AOS system from here using the BMW download guide and gained access to the service history section. using a Company Chassis number have been able to see the vehicles service history and ability to enter a new service record.
The system appears to be the same in layout and I had no issues. If you are following the guide I am not sure what is happening at your end. I would try and access the system again and if possible from another computer to see if full access can be gained. It is possible with your recent computer system issues that the add on to Chrome may be causing a problem or there is a possibility that your computer operation is affected in some way.

Gordon.

We recently serviced a 2014 BMW X5 and entered the relevant details onto the BMW Digital Service History (I have just checked and the information is there). We also re-set all of the relevant parameters in the vehicle regarding this service.
There is a facility in the vehicle to view the service history and although all of the past services (carried out by BMW dealerships) are showing, our recent service does not.
How can we make our service also show on the in-car service history?

Please be aware that as of 03/03/2020 BMW Digital Service record DSR entry has been replace by a new version.

When selecting applications the new DSR entry can be accessed via the kaSIO TAB

Please see new BMW DSR KaSIO syetm guide available on BMW and in the IGA Forums downloads section.

REF: BMW AOS registration

Morning all, having fun with BMW initial form submission last night saying my VAT number was incorrect. I eventually realised the BMW system must interrogate a database that was stopping the submission of the form. Turns out it wasn't just having the GB (no spaces) then the number it also needs the business address to match. But match what?! Used google came across www.vat-search.co.uk. Enter your business name and location, find your entry and check exactly how your address is recorded - mine had 'Rd' instead of 'Road' and 'Notts' instead of 'Nottingham' I changed the registration form to match and bingo, 50 submissions and an hour later we're submitted. Waiting in trepidation for my validation now!!
