We have recently been made aware of a number of changes to Audi Digital Service Records. As a result we are in the process of updating our downloadable "How To" document. Once complete, we will notify members via the IGA bulletin and our social media feeds.

Admittedly I only visit the Audi site rarely but always find that I have great difficulty navigating my way around it, especially as I always feel under pressure to get it all completed during my allotted time slot of an hour (with the other distractions of work eating into that!). I'm hoping that my problems are due to the changes Audi have made and therefore your updated instructions will solve all of my problems. Thanks in advance Alastair

Hi Alastair,
All updated digital service records guides and procedures are available to view in the downloads section of the IGA Forums. This is accessible to registered Technical Help Users.
Alternatively, log into the members area of the IGA website. All up to date information can be found and downloaded from the industry download area.
If members have difficulty finding this information, please contact the IGA member helpline (0845 305 4230) - the relevant information can then be forwarded to you.
I hope this helps.
Gordon

Gordon Hello Gordon thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I've just looked at the Audi DSR information in the downloads section of this forum and the document certainly doesn't look like an updated one to me! (The quoted price of a 1 hour flatrate is 5 euros!). Please let me know where to find the updar=ted information if I'm supposed to be looking somewhere else. Thanks again Alastair

Thanks again Alastair Hi Gordon, I've re-read your information above and see that the information has to be accessed from the IGA website members section. I've logged on to that and now see the latest information thanks. As a suggestion: I think it would be a good idea to move the confusing outdated information from the downloads section of this forum and make sure that any information shown is the latest version. What do you think? Alastair

Sorry, it's me again! Is there a way to retrospectively add a record to the Audi DSR system? We have just serviced a regular customers car and have discovered when entering the detail of this service, that for some reason the previous service has not been recorded! An explanation of how to do this would be appreciated and I thank you in advance for your help.

Hi there is no way to add a previous service record to the system, it does not allow back dating of records. All manufacturer DSR systems have the same operating principle to add service record at the time of service. The only way to add the missed record is as a current date but with an explanation and correct dates within the comment area on the last section of a service entry. This is not ideal but at least the record would be available to view and print.

OK Gordon, thank you for your prompt reply and useful suggestion. If this is all that I can do to remedy the situation that I will do as you have suggested. It's a bit frustrating as I can't understand why the record didn'tsave in the first place.
