DO YOU HAVE TO SET THE TIMMING ON A SEAT ALHAMBRA 2007 DIESEL 2.0L BEFORE CHANGEING THE REAR CRANK OILSEAL AS THE CRANK SENSOR IS PART OF THE REAR SEAL

HI,

Yes if the rear crank seal has the pick up ring in it for the crank sensor, it needs to be fitted in the correct 'timed position' relative to crankshaft position.

There is a manufacturer tool for this procedure.
