We Have a Renault Master showing a fault code of PO089 (fuel pressure regulation fault, possible overheating). Can anyone shed any light on this. Fuel pressure regulator has been replaced.
When driving all seems well until you accelerate hard then power loss. Stop and restart all well again until you try to accelerate.

P0089 as you say is a fuel regulation performance issue, on our system it also suggests it could be a mechanical problem (not sure about the link to overheating). Have you checked the injectors for excessive leak back, if the rail pressure falls from the required pressure the ECU can put the system into reduced power of limp mode. If you could advise the year of the vehicle and also the engine size/code we can look into the issue further for you.

Regards,

Tech Team.
