Service light reset.
Note that resetting can be carried out without diagnostic kit if the vehicle has driven at least 80% of the driving distance to the next service.
Resetting.
Turn on the ignition.
Activate the button (arrow) for approximately 10–15 seconds.
The reset menu will be shown in the display.
Press briefly on the button (arrow). Press repeatedly until the service you wish to reset is
shown.
Activate the button (arrow) for approx. 3 seconds, until the word ‘reset’ is shown in the
menu.
Activate the button (arrow) for approx. 3 seconds.
Switch off the ignition.
At MOT tests/exhaust emission checks, resetting should be carried out via the iDrive multifunction button.
