My name is Terry Gibson and I am the IGA Operations Manager at the RMI 
That gives me responsibility of a number of projects within the Independent Garage Association and I am delighted to report that this Technical Forum is one of them.
For my sins, I am also responsible for the Technical Helpdesk, Technical Training, Member Roadshows and the Trust My Garage scheme.
Before joining the RMI I worked in the field of vehicle security and identification and I have a background in the provision of technical information (outside the dealer network). In the distant past, I have also been responsible for running the workshop at a small independent garage which dealt in classic cars. Go even further back into my youth and I was an AA Patrol riding a yellow motorcycle around North West London.
This section of the IGA Technical & Bodyshop forum is for users to introduce themselves to tell other users a little about their garage and their particular areas of interest.
Success for this forum will depend entirely on the level of involvement that users are prepared to give to the forum - both in posing questions and offering solutions.
