Driver Complaint – Rear offside electric window stopped working in the open position, all other widows and electrical functions working o.k.
Rectification Route – In this instance the repairer disconnected the battery for 10 minutes then reconnected it back (ensure all items are switched off during disconnecting and re connecting the battery, doors are closed and keys removed from the ignition). The inoperative window worked o.k. after this process.
Re initialisation of all the windows may be required after disconnecting the battery, if this is the case call the technical helpline for the complete battery reconnection procedure.
