Driver Complaint – Heater blower intermittently goes off on all speeds.

Cause/Symptom – Dealer quoted for new motor and control module/resistor pack.

Rectification Route – In this instance the fault was traced to the main wiring loom connection to the bottom of the heater motor housing.

Proceed as follows:-
Remove the right hand lower outer windscreen trim.
Locate the 2 pin wiring connector on the bottom of the heater motor housing.
Remove the connector and carefully lift it up as far as possible.
Clean the connectors and spread the spade terminals to ensure a tight fit.
Refit the connector ensuring the rubber loom seal is still intact.
Re assemble and test the operation of the motor.
