Driver Complaint – Engine Management Light illuminated, cranks but will not start.
Cause/Symptom – Fault code P1612 and P1613 stored in the memory.
Rectification Route – Both the fault codes indicate a problem with the immobiliser control module or a wiring problem from the immobiliser control module back to the engine control module. A software update for the engine management control module is available to rectify this concern without replacing the immobiliser control module.
