2004 new Beetle problem with passenger door, won't unlock or open from inside or outside. Red blinking light not working on door. (Is working on driver's door.) Window switch works, lock/unlock switch works on both doors (ie locks/unlocks drivers but not passenger). Like there is no power going to passenger door lock mech. How do I open door?

Hi there. It sounds to me that as you say, there is a power supply problem to this door (maybe a broken wire going from the A post into the door?) Unfortunately you can't get to that wring without opening the door, so it's catch 22 here.
I suppose you could try to access the door wiring inside the A post and see that all of the relevant powers are there (just in case there is a problem elsewhere), but if everything is OK there, then you'll have to check inside the door which will involve removing the door panel to gain access.
I don't know if this can be done when the door is closed, or if it can be done without breaking the panel. You may be able to remove the panel enough so you can manually un-lock the door & open it, but I'd suggest you prepare yourself for the worst!
Good luck with this and please reply on here to let everyonme know how you get on.
Alastair
