Hi hope someone can put some light on a fault I've got on a Renault scenic lll a 2010 1.5dci. The fault I've got is the esp light on all the time. Fault code and description is steering
Angle sensor offset value. After resetting the sas and reading live data you can see that the offset value with the steering wheel in the straight ahead position is set at 0 degrees. But once driven 1/4 mile the value reverts back to something like 1300 degrees. The steering sensor seems to be reading correctly as a graph in live data. Had taken the vehicle to the local Renault main dealer who charged £300 diagnosis fee to say it was the abs pump. Which I removed and had tested with Ecu testing and was found to be ok. (Renault wanted £2000 to replace). Not sure where to proceed next hope someone can help. Cheers Dan

Hello Dan,
I don't know if you've got any further with this problem, but I seem to recall a similar problem with a Renault which was found to be an electronic power steering column problem. I think this is also something that ECU testing can help you with.
