Hi having some trouble with a ka come with noise from gearbox and hard to get gears. removed gearbox to found thrust bearing had broke up and damaged the selector fork and the shaft where the thrust bearing goes up and down. we cleaned the shaft as best we could then sent gearbox to be checked. was told that the repair was fine. A new clutch kit was fitted (luk parts) and a new selector fork. refitted gearbox went on road test now the clutch is slipping. suspected the new clutch to be at fault so fitted another new luk clutch kit and still getting clutch slip. Was thinking about fitting a new slave cylinder but unsure as to whether it will help.
any help or advise would be appreciated.
