Ive come across a few C4's now with the A/C not working on generally the passenger side, i have found that in the passenger side footwell on the left hand side behind the panel you will find the heater box. On the heater box you can find the flap mechanism for the passenger vents..... these break and Citreon do a modification kit for around £10 which sorts the problem

Thanks for this information, we have had calls in respect of the PSA vehicles which have split heat control, where the motors that operate the air flaps can become defective either electronically or mechanically.
